The habbitat for the tree frog is found in a river or a flood plain, were the ground is sandy.Its found mostly in eastern and southern parts of Missouri.The size range for the frog is on average 2 1/2 to 4 inches.The color is of the frog is greenish gray.They breed in late April to early May.They hunt at night for insects.The treefrog is also an intergrader with and is replaced by a subspecies called the Woodhouse's Toad.
